Kenneth Steve Stramaglio, aged 78, of Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024. Kenneth, also known as Ken (Kenny) to his friends and family, was born on November 14, 1946, in Illinois, where he lived a life full of adventure and laughter.
Ken led a life marked by his quiet demeanor, sharp wit, and deep care for those around him. His infectious enthusiasm for life and love of the water, Ken worked as a Charter Captain for many years before retiring in 2011. Ken spent his career fishing on Lake Erie, Ohio, where he was a master for navigating the waters and always had a fishing story to tell. His passion for fishing was only surpassed by his love for his family and friends.
He leaves behind a loving family: his wife, Janet of 28 years; daughters, Christine (Dennis) and Lorena (Joel); grandchildren, Alayna (Dillon), Alec, Austin, and Anthony; great-grandson, Theo; stepson, Todd Good; step-grandchildren, Trey and Mia; and brothers, Dan (Deborah) niece Dana; nephew Dylan; and brother; Steve (Ann) niece; Gina nephew; Steve. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Lorena Stramaglio.
Although Ken may no longer be with us, his memory will live on in the stories we tell and the laughter we share. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Parkinson Association of Southwest Florida
Ken will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his spirit will forever be a part of the waters he loved.
