Joanna Boller Gunsten Wilkerson

Joanna Boller Gunsten Wilkerson, 93, passed away on July 15, 2026 in Naples, Florida. She was born to Les and Louise Boller in Davenport, Iowa and was raised in Pekin, Illinois where she married Jim Gunsten on March 25, 1951. They raised their family in Pekin and later enjoyed a wonderful life in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii, Incline Village, Nevada at Lake Tahoe and Casa Grande, Arizona. After Jim’s passing in 1988, she married Cloyd (Frog) Wilkerson on December 23, 1994. They spent over twenty-five years traveling in their motorhome and on their motorcycle until Frog’s passing in 2022.

Joanna was a bookkeeper for many years. She loved her travels and friends and was quite a conversationalist.

Joanna is survived by her daughters and their husbands - Jane and Joe Thomer, who reside in Truckee, California and Jill and Dave Dray, who reside in Naples, Florida. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jackie (Jake) Reingardt and their sons, Henry and Charlie who reside in Greenwood Village, Colorado; Dillon (Dia) Dray, who reside on Maui, Hawaii and Jake Thomer who resides in Chicago, Illinois.

Joanna was preceded in death by her son John Gunsten, and her sister, Nancy Schneider.
