Al Reynolds

Albert Harry Reynolds, 80, passed away peacefully and went home to be with his Lord and Savior. He leaves behind a lifetime of service, faith, family, friendships, and memories that will be cherished by all who were blessed to know him.

Albert was a proud American and dedicated much of his life to serving his country. He served in the United States Navy from 1963 to 1985, retiring honorably as a Chief Petty Officer. His commitment to the Navy and his country was a source of great pride throughout his life.

His faith was equally important to him. Albert was a devoted member of Good Lutheran Church, where he was active in all areas of church life. He loved God deeply and found joy in serving his church family and being part of his community of faith. His love of God and Country shaped the man he was and the legacy he leaves behind.

Albert had many interests and passions. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed woodworking, and could often be found with a good book in his hands. He loved playing Mahjong, but anyone who knew him well knew one thing for certain—Sudoku was definitely not his favorite. He also wasn’t particularly fond of change. Albert knew what he liked, and if something worked just fine, he saw little reason to fix it.

He was especially proud of his Indian heritage, a part of his family history that he valued and carried with pride.

But more than anything else, Albert loved his family. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Leanne Reynolds, with whom he shared many years of life, love, laughter, and memories. He was a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, godfather, and friend who left behind a family forever changed by his love.

He is survived by his wife, Leanne Reynolds; his children, Wayne Reynolds and his wife, Claire; James Reynolds and his wife, Cheryl; Lisa Humphries and her husband, Tom; John Farkas and his wife, Becky; and William Farkas; his Donna Foust; his sisters Eileen Stewart and Lisa Burdette; and his beloved goddaughter, Tammy Stellini and her husband, Jason.

He leaves behind his grandchildren, Danielle Reynolds, Anjie Grace Reynolds, Olivia Reynolds, Rebecca Reynolds Newell, Collin Humphries, Zachary Humphries, Mia Farkas and Caleb Farkas and his great-grandchildren, Braxton Humphries and Evie Rose Newell, who brought another generation of love and joy into his life.

Albert will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his love of country, his dedication to his family and church, his strong opinions, his love of reading and bowling, his woodworking, and all the little things that made him uniquely Al.

He was a man who believed in the things that mattered to him—and he stood by them.

His family will miss his presence, his stories, his familiar ways, and even the things that occasionally made them shake their heads and smile. Those are the memories that become precious with time.

Albert lived a life of service, faith, family, and love. He gave 22 years to his country, countless hours to his church, and a lifetime to the people he loved.

Though our hearts are heavy with his passing, we take comfort in knowing that Albert has finished his earthly journey and has been welcomed home by the God he loved.
