Jerry Ellis Roberts

Jerry was a devoted father to his sons Michael and Christopher and stepfather to Robin and Jolynda. He was a loving husband and best friend to Shirley. He was a proud grandfather to Dylan, Julian, Leo, Brooke, Savannah, Mason, Katie, Kathryn, Cassy and Corey as well as a cherished father in law to Ingrid, James and Ricky and uncle to Becky, Genia and Teri. Jerry was also a step father to Mike and Lynn Sewell, a grandfather to step grandkids Michael, Jamee, Josh, Chrissy, Jon and a step great grandfather to Weston, Cami, Caiden, Braden and Ethan as well as four step great great grandchildren. Jerry had a special way of making everyone feel like family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ellis and Willie Mae, his brother Harold, Harold’s wife Pauline as well as his previous wives, Dewanda, Donna and Ann.

Jerry loved his collections of western memorabilia, German beer mugs, music and movies. He always wanted to look good and loved sporting a new hat and matching colorful socks when he went out.

He will be remembered for his big smile and booming laugh.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A memorial service will be held, date and time to be announced.
