Gail Joan Hitts, of New Port Richey, Florida, formerly of White Cloud, MI, suddenly passed away on June 10, 2026, at the age of 64. She was born on December 11, 1961. Gail was preceded by her mother, Donna McGowen and father, Leon McGowen, she is survived by her Husband Walter Hitts four children, Chad (Katherine), Tyler, James (Melissa) and Krystle (Jeremy) and her 13 grandchildren, Aubrey (Eric), Landyn, Leo, Kash, Ian, Ayden, Paige, JJ, Maddy, Marion, Sophie, Sarah, Hannah. Gail is also survived by her two great-grandchildren, Eric jr. and Ashlynn, her two brothers Bob (Pam) and Mark (Cameo)
Gail will be remembered by family, friends, and all who knew her as a loving mother, sister, wife, meemah, and friend for her warmth, kindness, and thoughtful nature. She touched many lives through the relationships she built and the time she shared with loved ones.
Though her passing brings great sadness, those who knew Gail take comfort in the lasting memories she created and the positive impact she had on others. Her spirit and influence will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
