Daniel dedicated much of his life to serving others, first through his service in the United States Army, including a tour during Operation Desert Storm, and later through a long and respected career in the automotive parts industry. He worked as a Parts Specialist at Crown Kia for the past eight years and previously spent 22 years with NAPA Auto Parts. He was known for his strong work ethic, extensive knowledge, and willingness to help anyone in need.
Outside of work, Daniel was an avid hunter and fisherman who found great joy in the outdoors. Whether in the woods or on the water, he treasured the peace and fulfillment that nature provided.
Above all else, Daniel cherished his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 25 years, Bonnie Bennett, whom he adored and treasured every moment with. His love, devotion, and companionship were the foundation of their life together.
Daniel is survived by his mother, JoAnn; sisters, JoEllen, Jeralyn, and Jaci; daughter, Schelle; four grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Danny, Joseph, Bill, and Steve; and his sister-in-law, Kim. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss his presence, kindness, humor, and unwavering loyalty.
Daniel's passing leaves a tremendous void in the lives of all who knew and loved him. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, veteran, and friend.
A private service for family will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at National Cremation Society, 4945 East Bay Drive, in Clearwater. A public viewing will follow from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
