Constance Joyce Taylor Murray (97) lived in Clearwater, Florida. She died peacefully in hospice care on September 5, 2024. Connie was born November 20, 1926 in Greensboro, Maryland to Ruth Plummer and Levin W. Taylor. She graduated from Greensboro High School in 1943 and from Milford Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1946.
Connie was a registered nurse and worked at Milford Memorial Hospital in Milford, Delaware and Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, North Carolina throughout her long career. When she wasn’t working, she loved keeping in touch with her family, her cherished friends and her faith.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Joseph M Murray. She is survived by her two daughters Barbara W. Hollen-Hugg (Sheryl) of Safety Harbor, FL and Nancy A. Smith (Kenneth) of Milford, Delaware, granddaughter, Leigh Anne Carter (Colt) of Bridgeville, Delaware and her two great-grandsons, Kasey Carter and Blake Carter of Bridgeville, Delaware. There will be no public service as per Connie‘s wishes. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
