Carol Lynn Heffner-Mills

She was born on July 5, 1957, in Rockville, Maryland and lived in Gaithersburg, Maryland with her 4 siblings. She later moved to Florida where she has resided for over 30 years. She graduated from Gaithersburg High School in 1975. She worked as a bus driver for Head Start of Pinellas County then as a receptionist at a nursing home in Clearwater, Florida. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching I Love Lucy reruns, cheering on her favorite sports teams: Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Washington Commanders, and spending the spring and summer in Pulaski, New York. She also collected thimbles and I Love Lucy memorabilia. She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Lou Heffner, father Robert Cleveland Heffner, and her husband Vincent M. Mills.

She is survived by her siblings: Nettie Heffner, Barbara Robinson, Patricia Silverman, and Robert C. Heffner Jr.; niece Heather Kehr, nephews John Robinson, Matthew Robinson, and Andrew Silverman; great-nieces Jordyn Kehr, Amelia Robinson, and Penelope Robinson; great-nephew Johnny Robinson; and best friend William Bresee.

The family would like to thank the staff at Empath Suncoast Hospice North Pinellas for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.
