Mary Jane graduated from Sexton High School in Lansing. She enjoyed bowling in leagues for approximately 60 years, knitting, crocheting, camping, feeding birds and wildlife in her yard. Lived in many different places including Lansing, DeWitt, Laingsburg, Seminole Florida and Dimondale.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Cynthia Loomis and two sisters Betty Schopp Davis and Dorothy Schopp Steinman and half siblings Carl Schopp, Jr. and Helen Baird.
Surviving is the love of her life, husband Robert A. Loomis, her children Katherine (Scott) Laing, Lynda Loomis, her grandchildren Angela Craft, Nicole (Aaron) Craig, Jessica (Jayel) Guyton and Samantha (Logan) Keith, along with seven great grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.
